River Hamble and Manor Farm Access Road improvements

Tender description

Hampshire County Council required works to be undertaken to ensure that the road is safe and convenient to use. The works deemed necessary to achieve must include, but may not be limited to, the following. Repair of damaged road surface (to general specification of: remove 400mm of existing surface, geotextile layer followed by 300 mm sub-base, 100mm road base and 50 mm wearing course), fix and install drainage, remove speed bumps and replace with pinch points, reduce height of roadside banks in places, fill in deep drainage ditches with oversized stone, resurface length of footpath adjacent to the road. Length of road line-marking to be decided.
