Public Footpath Repairs: England Coast Path

Tender description

Project subject to environmental permit being issued by the Environment Agency. Funding subject to successful application to the England Coast Path Establishment Fund and a grant being awarded by Natural England. The England Coast Path (ECP) is England's newest National Trail that will allow public access along the entire length of England's coastline. In total, we plan to lay a 610 metre x 2 metre-wide, crushed limestone path along three sections of the footpath that are the worst affected during the winter months. Timing: This project has to be undertaken when ground conditions are firm and suggest implementing at the end of August beginning of September 2021. This will also allow time for environmental permits to be issued.
