Passenger Covid-Testing Services

Tender description

With the second wave of Coronavirus and the subsequent withdrawal of the travel corridors, countries are requiring UK arrivals to take either a PCR or antigen private COVID-19 test as a condition of entry to the country. In order for Inverness Airport to return to international travel when the restrictions on travel are lifted, we need to provide testing to our customers to afford them a “fit to fly” certificate. The tests to be offered to passengers and the wider community are: - PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test – with results available in 24/48 hours. - LAMP (Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification) test (Rapid PCR) with results available immediately on site. - Antigen test with results available immediately on site. The service provider will be responsible for the provision of a “turnkey service” i.e. all elements associated with the service including but not exhaustively suitably trained staff, equipment, licences, certificates, testing kits, administration, management, online booking platform etc. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON MARKET CAPACITY AND CAPABILITY ONLY.
