Inward Investment Sector Proposition & Investment Targeting

Lincolnshire County Council's (LCC) Place & Investment Team deliver the LCC's priorities to attract investment into the region which is directly referenced in the Council's Business Plan. It is also reflected through key performance indicators of KPI 69 Businesses Supported and KPI 68 Jobs Created & Safeguarded. Investment to the region is delivered through three vehicles: • Team Lincolnshire Ambassador Programme • Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Key Account Management • Inward Investment (UK & FDI) Value Sector propositions are a key part of attracting investment into the region. They can be used to not only attract inward investors and showcase the region on an international platform but also to provide vital economic intelligence on areas such as labour, workforce and skills capability. This is crucial to support detailed discussions with investors and provide the confidence to invest and create jobs in our region. Through a delivery plan outlined with the Team Lincolnshire Business Plan work has been underway through 2020 with Clarity Business Strategies Ltd to develop Value Sector Propositions in relation to Food, Advanced Manufacturing and Energy/Low Carbon. This work has been extremely valuable and once finished will put our region at the forefront of conversations with inward investors who are ready to invest and create jobs.
