Tender description
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) requires Technical Support to assist with the running of the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF). The objectives of the IETF are to reduce the energy costs and emissions of UK industry and to bring down the costs and risks of industrial decarbonisation technologies through demonstration and deployment. A supplier information day will be held in April 2021 (likely w/c 12th April). Interested parties should register their interest by emailing name, title and organisation to ietf@beis.gov.uk with the subject heading “IETF Technical Support supplier day”. Lot 1: BEIS intends to procure engineering-related scientific and technical services which may include some or all of the following: 1. Supporting prospective applicants 2. Assessment of grant applications against technical and non-technical criteria 3. Monitoring of successful projects regarding technical aspects of compliance 4. Monitoring and evaluation of benefits realised by projects Additional information: The Industry day is intended to be run as a joint event between the IETF and the Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP) project, which is anticipated to run from 2021 to 2025 and is also looking for Technical Third Party Support (TTPS).
