Framework agreement for Ground Investigation surveys. Lot 1: This tender process is for the provision of Ground Investigations, covering the entire area of the Utilities regions. A summary of the scope forming part of this tender is stated below. Ground investigation works are required to understand and confirm the nature of the ground conditions, relative to a particular site of works. They are to inform the optioneering, outline and detailed design phases of a project. Ground Investigation should be carried out in accordance with Site Investigation in Construction Volume 3: "Specification for Ground Investigation", Second edition published by ICE Publishing herein referred to as the "ICE Specification for Ground Investigation". All exploratory hole work, associated sampling, in situ testing and logging shall be carried out in accordance with techniques outlined in BS 5930:2015+A1:2020, BS1377:1990, BS17892 parts 1-12, and BS EN ISO 22476/3: 2005 as appropriate.
