SOLAS has created its first People Strategy as a catalyst to transform our working environment and culture and create the conditions for our future organisation to thrive and achieve its goals. Our People Strategy recognises that for the learner experience to be at the heart of what we do, a focus on our employees’ experience will be critical as the former cannot exist to its fullest potential without achieving excellence in the latter. We need all colleagues in the organisation to take ownership of their delivery to achieve organisational success. To realise these ambitions, we need to ensure the development of a people-centric culture where we can all contribute in achieving success of the SOLAS People Strategy 2020 to 2024. There are several elements to ensuring this achievement including the provision of relevant and aligned Learning and Development across the organisation. For the next four years we intend to roll out a suite of programmes accessible to all staff.
