This notice replaces RFT 184776 / TED Reference 2021/S 035-088479. The previous notice was cancelled due to a technical error in the TED publication, the type of procedure used for this competition will be the Negotiated Procedure with a call for competition. Iarnród Éireann requires the services of a suitably qualified electrical contractor with the expertise to undertake maintenance, repairs and replacement works on existing electrical systems and sub systems in safety critical environments such as Data centers, ESB distribution rooms, stations, lifts and public facilities. The requirements under this contract will include: planned preventative maintenance and the provision of technical and skilled certified resource’s for all work types. Iarnród Éireann wish to enter into a single party five year agreement (3 years with the option to extend for an additional period of up to 2 years). The requirements under this contract will include; planned preventative maintenance and the provision of technical and skilled certified resource’s for all work types. Iarnród Éireann wish to enter into a single party 5-year agreement (3 years with the option to extend for an additional period of up to 2 years) for testing, maintaining and repairing of: • lighting, general services and associated control equipment; • electrical sub distribution and UPS systems; • ESB metering, transformers and cabling; • building management systems, monitoring and remote control; • voice alarm, lift emergency telephone systems; • fiber and copper IT cabling systems; • provision of technical resources located in 3 designated regional areas; • provision of technical resources in Heuston Dublin CCE M&E technical offices; • provision of minor civil works associated with external lighting, ESB metering and free standing distribution points.
