Tender description

This technology is being trialed in the DCMS funded Liverpool 5G Create Programme. Haptic Hugs is a special shirt worn by a resident in a care home with Haptic technology that allows a loved one outside of the care home using an app to hug the person in the care home . The shirt squeezes the wearer as if it was a hug. The shirt can easily be deep cleaned to be used by everyone in the care home if required. Whilst this will never replace physical contact with loved ones if acceptable may offer some contact with family members.
