Tender description

Procurement for the delivery, and award of the level 6 degree honours/graduate diploma known as “the Professional Qualification in Probation (PQiP)” for intakes in November 2021 and March 2022 (with possible extension). The qualification is undertaken by all trainee Probation Officers (Learners) employed by the Probation Service across England and Wales. The course is to be delivered via a blended model that is majority distance learning. Lot 1: London, East of England, Kent Surrey and Sussex, South West and South Central, Wales Procurement for the development, accreditation, delivery, and award of the level 6 degree honours/graduate diploma known as “the Professional Qualification in Probation (PQiP)” to all learners based in National Probation Service regions within the Lot. The service provision falls within the scope of Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR2015) and consequently the procurement is conducted in accordance with the Light Touch Regime of PCR2015. Nothing should be inferred from the fact that reference is made to the Open Procedure. Lot 2: North East, Greater Manchester, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber Procurement for the development, accreditation, delivery, and award of the level 6 degree honours/graduate diploma known as “the Professional Qualification in Probation (PQiP)” to all learners based in National Probation Service regions within the Lot. The service provision falls within the scope of Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR2015) and consequently the procurement is conducted in accordance with the Light Touch Regime of PCR2015.
