Tender description

The project involves the treatment of weeds along the verges of the roads and public paths throughout the build up areas of the Municipal District, Ennis and Clarecastle. The roads in charge of the Local Authority are treated. The Contractor is to perform the role of PSCS in relation to the works. Herbicides are selected in consultation with the IPM and the professional advisor. All herbicides are applied by trained personnel and registered Pesticide users. All herbicides used, to be PCS (Pesticide Control Service) approved and are used in accordance with best practice and the label recommendations.
