Architectural Services for Life Safety System Works at Mount Saint Michael Secondary School, Roscarberry, Co Cork. The project consists of: Fire safety upgrading works at the school premises. The design team is to scope and detail the works, to include safety upgrades to escape routes and surfaces, escape lighting and signage, fire detection and alarm systems and facilities for the fire brigade; to oversee the execution of the work by the necessary specialist and general contractors; and to advise the school on a programme for ongoing maintenance. Obtaining and oversight of compliance with all the requisite statutory consents and regulations will be required. The school forms part of a Protected Structure and a qualified and experienced Building Conservation specialist will be required to oversee their scoping and implementation. The approximate level of grant is € 560,000 (inclusive of fees and VAT).
