19-179 Early Education Childcare Provision at Thrybergh Rainbow Centre (Concession).

Tender description

The Early Help Strategy 2016-19 includes proposals to retain designated Children Centre status for Thrybergh/Dalton Children’s Centre but to re-locate the delivery staff to an alternative base. Childcare / early education has been delivered by the Children’s Centre in the Thrybergh area to meet parent needs and ensure that the local authority are fulfilling the Childcare Sufficiency Duty, however, the local authority no longer intend to manage the direct delivery of Ofsted registered childcare. The building, including continued running of the existing day care are therefore being offered to external organisations The requirement is for the delivery of Ofsted Registered high quality early education places to 2, 3- and 4-year olds plus sustainable childcare places to meet needs in the Thrybergh area.
