Tender description

A Tree, Tree Preservation Order and Asset Management System, already in use at Council but originally client hosted moved to software as a service. Lot 1: Software as a Service for a Tree, Tree Preservation Order and Asset Management System, already in use at Council but client hosted. The contract includes hardware costs (4G tablets with accessories), initial project build and one-off costs (including data migration, smart sync upgrade, hosting on the cloud), with licenses and annual support for up to five years. The Council is contracting with RA Information Systems to provide the service as the company are, as the developers and owners, the only provider able to support this proprietary product. Additional information: A change of product would have incurred a major impact on existing programmes of work activity, costs of change, and market testing had not identified alternatives that met existing requirements in full.
