Tender description

The services comprise of the following: Part A -To acquire genetic screening services to better understand the population dynamics of farmed bivalve species and to collect baseline data on the spawning periods and their frequency. Part B - To screen for genetic differentiation between Mytilid species: Mytilus edulis (Me) Mytilus galloprovincialis (Mg) Mytilus trossulus (Mt) and hybrids at pre-determined culture sites around the Irish coast.
