Tender description

The Legal Aid Board (“LAB”)was established under the Civil Legal Aid Act 1995. The Act makes provision for the granting by the State of legal aid and advice to persons of insufficient means in civil cases and family mediation services. The Legal Aid Board released its bespoke case management system EOS in August 2012. The case management system was developed in Sharepoint 2010 and is currently used within the Legal Aid Board as a platform for document, content, file and case management. The Legal Aid Board is seeking submissions from competent service providers to provide a Review and Analysis of the Board’s EOS Legal Case Management System. This tender exercise is being conducted to select a provider that can carry out a review and analysis of the LAB’s current EOS structure, processes and procedures and provide a functional specification and technical design, as prerequisite to developing a new Legal Case Management System, based on current business requirements . This analysis will form the basis of a separate RFT which the Board will issue in 2021 for the redevelopment and replacement of EOS with a new Legal Case Management System. The document\report produced following this analysis will form the functional specification for the development of the new case management system.
