Tender description

Over the past three years, the Department's Children's Social Care Improvement Programme has become well established and has included a leadership development programme, that targets political and corporate leaders of LAs, which has seen some success. The Department wishes to expand this type of support, with the primary objective of improving the leadership of LA children's services (including Special Educational Needs and Disability), by ensuring that local political and corporate leaders can fulfil their statutory role effectively and provide appropriate scrutiny and challenge, to drive forward the improvement of services for the most vulnerable children and their families.
