Tender description

Care and support providers for Extra care housing. The Council is looking for experienced, effective and dynamic providers to deliver Extra care and support services (and perhaps related services during the lifetime of the contract). The Council is intending to appoint providers for all current and future Extra care facilities where care and support is required. Note this is for care services not landlord services. Other Council partners may express an interest in using this contract throughout its lifetime. Annual spend for the Council will start at approximately GBP 2.6 million and is expected to rise throughout the term. The Council is operating this procurement under the light touch regime for social and other specific services, asset out in the PCR 2015, at Section 7 (Regulations 74 to 77) and Schedule 3.
