Tender description

The requirement is to provide ongoing Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Support to DSTL’s Incinerator Complex situated at DSTL Porton Down, SALISBURY. The Dstl Incinerator is a complex facility, incorporating a variety of different plant equipment and technologies. The Incinerator was originally designed to have a lifespan of approximately ten years, although many areas of the plant have already had to be re-designed and re-built to maintain the incinerator capability. The complex nature of the Incinerator means that frequent maintenance of this plant equipment is essential in order to achieve reliable operation and meet environmental legislative requirements. The Contract duration is envisaged to be three years FIRM with two one year Options to extend.
