This is a Prior Information Notice only and not a call from competition. A call for competition may be advertised within the next nine (9) months. It is the intention of Bus Eireann to tender for vehicle cleaning and ancillary cleaning services. Vehicle cleaning will include but not limited to deep cleaning of buses and coaches both single and double deck, school bus cleaning, intertrip cleaning and Covid-19 related cleaning requirements, subject to up to date Government public health advice. Ancillary cleaning requirements may include cleaning of various facilities at times of reduce fleet access. Bus Eireann may carry out market consultation with companies with the capability, expertise and experience in cleaning of large fleets of vehicles and/or premises, in order to assist with the drafting of detailed requirements.
