Tender description

GS Tentage is used across the world to provide shelter and accommodation to personnel deployed on Operations or Exercises. The Authority is seeking the manufacture of existing Authority owned Tent panel designs as well as other tentage ancillaries. The Mk 4 GS Tentage utilised flame-resistant PVC coated polyethylene (PVC Textile) in place of the previous Mk1-3 cotton canvas. The frame design configurations remained unchanged, ensuring that the new solution was entirely compatible with existing equipment. All components are fully compatible which enables units to replenish worn, broken or lost individual items as required therefore offering the most cost-effective solutions. The new solution must maintain frame design configurations and provide interoperability and utilisation of current Authority assets. The new solution will need to operate and coexist with current and planned service projects including, but not limited to, Environmental Control Unit (ECU), Operational Field Catering System (OFCS) and Lighting and Power Distribution (LAPDS) This procurement contract is intended to replenish any deficiencies, satisfy both routine and unplanned demands in the future.
