<p>Cheshire East Council is seeking to engage on the development and delivery of a comprehensive range of Adult Day Opportunities services across the Borough.</p> <p>We want to hear from providers who currently deliver day opportunities services, or those who may look to deliver them in the future and give you the opportunity to make comments and suggestions about the way that services are provided in the future.&nbsp; Please register an interest here to download and respond to this market consultation questionnaire.</p> <p>We are seeking to obtain the views from a wide range of providers of day opportunities, including voluntary sector organisations, community groups and organisations who can provide training and employment opportunities.</p> <p>Your responses will be used by commissioners, in commercial confidence, to help in the development of a co-produced Day Opportunities Strategy for Cheshire East.</p> <p>Day opportunities benefit people with a wide range of support needs, including older people, people with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities across the borough. They can be delivered in a variety of settings, where people can participate in meaningful activities, build new relationships and, where required, receive care and support. These services can be commissioned by the Council, or people can also access them through a direct payment, (or personal health budget) or pay privately.</p> <p>We are seeking to develop a co-produced day opportunities strategy involving people who use services, their families/carers and providers, that explains what the Council proposes to focus on when day opportunities are utilised. The aim is to provide citizens with choices about what they want to do and to support them to lead their lives and be as independent as possible whilst maintaining good health and wellbeing.</p> <p>When services are provided, we want them to be of a high quality. We want to design a strategy to ensure that future day opportunities are relevant, flexible, affordable and developed in line with the learning and good practice developed during the current pandemic so that we can ensure people&rsquo;s needs are met.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> Keywords: Day Opportunities, Day Services, Adult Complex Needs
