<p>Trafford Council is seeking Expressions Of Interest from suitable interested parties including GPs and Pharmacies for the provision of Locally Commissioned Services as listed below, to their general population: &bull; Smoking cessation &ndash; A service which aims to reduce the number of people who smoke in Trafford. The service is comprised of three tiers of support: 1. NRT &amp; Medicine Supply 2. Behavioural support 3. E-cigarette and prescription medicine supply &amp; support. &bull; Alcohol intervention &ndash; A service designed to provide effective interventions to patients with excessive alcohol consumption through the provision of brief and extended interventions. &bull; NHS Health Checks &ndash; A service that provides a Health check to people at risk of Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD) aged over 40, with no known existing conditions. &bull; Long Acting Reversible Contraception &ndash; The insertion or removal of either an IUD (rod) or IUCD (coil) contraceptive device to all women in Trafford. &bull; Emergency Hormone Contraception (EHC) &ndash; a service that provides EHC (the morning after pill) to women in Trafford who have had unprotected sex. Contract commencement date: 1 April 2021. Duration: 1 year plus an option to extend for up to 12 months. Approximate Annual Spend: &pound;384,715.00 Approximate Total Spend: &pound;769,430.00 The pricing for the services will remain fixed for the duration of the contract.&nbsp; Please see attached documentation for details including specifications and the pre-requisites that must be met by interested parties. In order to be able to participate in this procurement process, interested parties must be able to: a)meet the pre-requisites / criteria for the provision of the service(s); b)meet the required quality standards stipulated; and c)provide the required evidence to show that they meet the above-mentioned pre-requisites / criteria and quality standards.
