Track Relative Survey Device for OTM maintenance designs

Tender description

This information is requested as part of a soft market testing exercise in order to seek the market’s solution to measuring the tracks position from a vertical, lateral and cross-level at fixed measuring points such as datum plates or spigots/TMGs. Network Rail are looking to see what accurate devices are out there to gain the measurements as mentioned above. Lot 1: NR are looking to see what accurate devices are out there to gain the measurements as mentioned above. The equipment will need to benefit from the following: • The equipment is light weight • The equipment is mobile • Easy operational • Assembly friendly • Waterproof • Internally battery powered with a strong battery life • Robust • Lifted and operated by a single person • Display the measurements live when taken. • Needs to have a quick calibration turnaround. • Cost effective.
