Configuring/maintaining separate development environment Latest start date Wednesday 31 March 2021 Budget Range Up to £15,000 per year Why the Work is Being Done The STEPS App is designed to provide clinical support whilst families are on the waiting list to access CAMHS. An intense period of 3 years from April 2021 must be supported as part of the academic research evaluation of the application. The code repo for the app is on Github. It is a private repo (not available to public) within the TOAD Git profile. Details (including the technologies and how to install the app and get it up running can be provided on request. Problem to Be Solved The STEPS app application required effective support and maintenance. It is also required interrogation (i.e. data reporting on the usage and other database interrogation/reporting). Who Are the Users The users are families with accepted referrals on the relevant CAMHS waiting list. Work Already Done The development of the clinical model and the application itself is built. This contract is to take responsibility for the continued effective functioning of the app and delivery of the proramme over 3 years. Existing Team The main contact will be with the clinical research team and Trust Digital Services team. Current Phase Live Skills & Experience • Significant, demonstrable experience in full lifecycle of development of large public facing remote clinical tools/applications and design • Full service digital agency with full range of roles including design, IA, UX and technical content • Experience of working with large NHS/public sector organisations, knowledge of health technology environment and evolving technical standards from NHS Digital • Evidence of providing responsive customer support services, relationship with satisfied clients • Evidence of creating and producing clinical digital applications and information that supports digital inclusion and content types that optimise engagement • Can demonstrate experience of rapid turnaround delivery, particularly with the unique aspects experienced due to COVID • Ability to deliver high quality but low technical maintenance digital solutions • Evidence of delivering effective training on use of solutions - training for different levels of staff/users • Can demonstrate full compliance with the government's accessibility standards for public sector websites in line with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standard (without compromising on design quality)GDPR/EU regulations • Can provide options for translation • Can explore options for personalisation and user authentication • Can demonstrate process for keeping the application components up to date • Experience with delivering solutions meeting the needs of CAMHS, i.e. mental health and wellbeing of children and young people alongside parents/carers ideally within ADHD pathway • Able to undertake a rapid code review of the existing application and design support package maximising simplicity and consistency • Experience of supporting the delivery of products within clinical trials Nice to Haves Experience of supporting and working with applications that are reflective of specialist media quality as well as mental healthcare clinical evidence Work Location Mainly off site, with visits to the office (at Maudsley Hospital, Denmark Hill, SE5 8AZ) when required.
