Tender description

The Contract consists of the construction of a garden shelter within the walled garden of St Columb’s Park House, which is located within St, Columb’s Park, Derry. The completed shelter will provide valuable external space for the delivery of community gardening workshops. The proposed shelter, measuring approximately 13 x 3.3m, will directly abut the existing stone wall and be constructed from materials that are sympathetic to the location. These materials include timber rafters/ceilings joists, a decorative oak entrance truss, reclaimed clay red bricks and selected roof tiles. The main supporting structure will be a steel frame. The expected duration of the contract is approximately 3/4 months with the works expected to start on-site in late June/Early July 2021.
