Servicing, Maintenance and Erection of Dog Fouling Bins T ENV21-047

Tender description

Derry City and Strabane District Council is responsible for the provision of waste management services across the district providing waste collection, treatment and recovery services on behalf of residents. At present Council provides over 700 Dog Fouling Bins for residents across the district. In consideration of Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) wishes to appoint a suitably experienced firm to Service – remove waste and transport it to an assigned site. Maintain, by inspecting, repairing (where needed) and washing dog fouling bins. Erecting new/replacement bins as and when directed. Specification Background Derry City and Strabane District Council currently provide 717 Dog Fouling Bins in a variety of locations throughout the council district area including walkways, public parks, open spaces, residential areas, etc. Council wish to appoint a suitably experienced and licensed contractor to service and maintain the bins, disposing of waste at a designated disposal point. The existing Dog Fouling Bins have been erected throughout the council district area in rural and urban locations. Please refer to CfT documents for further detail
