Tender description

The objective of this tender is to ensure that the successful Service Provider (Vendor) can deliver the full scope of the work as below. In bidding for this tender, you are confirming you are able to undertake the full suite of Services requested. The purpose of this is to set up Bottled water stations for customers to attend and collect alternative water supplies in the form of packages of bottled water (containing 6x 2 ltr bottles) for each person that lives in the household. On average this will amount to 24ltrs of water per property per day based on 2.4 occupants per household. In order to facilitate this Southern water requires a service supplier to provide all the necessary equipment and materials and to set up the traffic management of a drive-through/pedestrian or combined (drive-through and pedestrian) bottled water collection station on a number of different location types. Locations are provided by Local councils and private land owners with permission for Southern Water to use during Incidents. – These locations are likely to Council owned building or Supermarket carparks. Southern water will dictate which sites are to be used. Refer to the document titled ‘Bottled Water Distribution Sites Scoping Document’. In addition to providing these services SWS may also elect to also utilise the service provider to provide similar services for other requirements in the business. Please refer to
