Tender description

Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology wishes to award a contract under the open procedure for project work involving the re-adaption of four office type spaces into part office / part lab type spaces by providing a wet lab space and ancillary services within the rooms. The work is concentrated in three areas across three floors, but two rooms are back-to-back while the other two rooms are directly over one another. This will be a turnkey project which will be ready to move into upon completion. The main elements involved are as follows: • Electrical alterations & Installations. • Mechanical alterations & Installations. • Tiling • Decoration. • Floor finishes. • Alteration and Installation of new furniture (benching, cupboards, kitchen type units). Please refer to ITT for further details. GMIT wish to acknowledge funding provided by Enterprise Ireland for this project.
