Frontline Labour Supply - Rail

Shorterm Limited is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations to join its second tier supply chain across the UK for the provision of frontline labour to supplement its primary sponsored rail workforce. It is envisaged that this will be split into a number of categories, these being: • Rail civils • Rail track • Rail trackworker protection • Rail semi Professional grades. Frontline Labour Workers are workers hired on a labour only basis to work under the management and direction of the Supplier and/or any Sub-contractor, as may be applicable under the terms of the Agreement, on Network Rail's infrastructure or a Network Rail construction site. Frontline Labour Workers will supplement the workforce and will be hired against specific competencies. All Frontline Labour Workers shall meet the relevant job description and competencies set out in the call-off order and be engaged through the Sentinel programme, as appropriate. For the avoidance of doubt, Frontline Labour Workers do not include office workers/staff. We are particularly keen to engage with SME's located in the following Network Rail routes: • Anglia • East Midlands • North & East • North West • Central & West Coast Mainline South • Scotland • Kent • Sussex • Wessex • Wales • Western Second tier suppliers are required to hold the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) Accreditation and audited code certificate for at least one of the following codes: • A.A.1.5 - Temporary Labour (Track) • A.A.1.6 - Temporary Labour (Civils) • A.A.9.1- Provision of Protection & Warning Staff (not including LOWS) • A.A.9.2 - Machine/Crane Controllers To express an interest in this opportunity please complete the following questions contained within CompeteFor and provide a supplier statement.
