A logistics, storage and operational support contract to enable and support the Environment Agency in its incident response role. A key part of the contract is ensuring flood barriers and pumps are ready for rapid deployment to protect against flooding. A key part of the contract is ensuring flood barriers and pumps are ready for rapid deployment to protect against flooding. A detailed Specification will be included in the Tender documents. Requirements will include: A minimum total of 20,000sq feet with a surge capacity to hold a further 5,000 sq. feet in total if required between locations; Warehousing and the full access route to the main arterial road network MUST be situated away from areas considered at risk of flooding or of suffering flood-related damage (e.g. ground instability / landslides.)
