This opportunity is for Transparency purposes only. The Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) were seeking to appoint a supplier who can deliver the services required for Security & Support Services at Quarantine Hotels. The indicated contract values are a theoretical maximum contract value, including all possible extensions through to 31st October 2021. These have been calculated on a reasonable worst-case scenario and do not represent current budgets or forecast expenditure. The current spend on these services is far lower than the published values. They are simply provided in case of a reasonable worst case scenario should there be a significant increase in passenger numbers requiring hotel quarantine brought about by either a change in security requirements, an expansion of the Red list countries or the inclusion of additional designated ports of arrival.
