Tender description

The project will involve the demolition of an existing office and the construction of a new Sensory Room. The existing office is a 1-storey building with a plan area of 19.5m2. The existing office appears to be of masonry construction, with a flat roof constructed of timber. The floor is raised by approximately 300mm and appears to be a ground bearing slab. The new Sensory Room is located in a central courtyard and hence is in close proximity surrounding structures and infrastructure. The Contractor shall plan and execute the work in a manner that will minimize the impact of the construction works on the surrounding structures and infrastructure, in particular below ground services and utilities.
