Construction of boundary wall to Mart in Drumshanbo Town, Co. Leitrim

Drumshanbo Town and Village Scheme – Mart Wall – Scope of Works Drumshanbo community have been successful in their application for funding for the construction of a boundary wall to the Drumshanbo Mart. The Scheme will include the re-plastering of the existing wall on the Dowra Link road and the construction of a new wall along the Mart boundary with the Mart Road. It is recommended that all tender applicants visit the site Works will include the following: • Traffic and pedestrian management and health and safety supervision (PSCS role – Health and Safety Plan will be provided as part of this contract). • Removal of old concrete fence • Foundations for the wall and piers. These foundations will have a finished level of 250mm below the existing footpath level and therefore will be slightly proud on the mart side of the boundary. The excavated material can be placed over these foundations when works are complete. • Construction of 2.1m high wall and piers as per standard detail (NRA RCD/2400/1) • Installation of 3 No. 7m long galvanised cantilever gates similar to existing gates along the Dowra Link road entrances. • Railings will be inserted at every 4th panel between piers • New galvanised cantilever gates installed • Small drainage works within the Mart side of the boundary wall.
