Stroke Recovery Service (Sandwell)

Tender description

NHS Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG intend to undertake a procurement to commission a stroke recovery service for the Sandwell region. The purpose of the stroke recovery service is to improve patient outcomes following a stroke by providing people affected by stroke and their families/carers with high quality information, emotional support, practical advice and assistance. The aim of the service is to achieve a good quality of life for the individual and their carer by maximising independence, well-being, and choice. The contract will be for 2 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months. The Service being procured is a Schedule 3 (Health) Service, however the value of the contract falls below the Public Contract Regulations 2015 Light Touch Regime threshold. Providers interested in bidding for this contract must express an interest by the deadline. A market engagement 'event' via MS Teams is also being held in early February 2020.
