SOL - Solihull Domestic Abuse Needs Assesment and Strategy

Solihull has an existing 2016-20 Domestic Abuse Needs assessment and strategy, we are seeking a review and update to these assessments. The new needs assessment will be required to be compliant with the Local Authority pending statutory duty arising from the Domestic Abuse Act 2020, in relation to the provision of Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation and undertaken in accordance with MHCLG (Minster of Housing, Communities and Local Government) Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation guidance that is soon to be released. The initial term of the Contract will be for a period of 12 weeks from commencement but may be extended by mutual agreement by increments of 1 week periods to an expiry date no later than 30th July 2021. The services will be subject of review on a four weekly basis and the results of those reviews will inform the Council's decision whether or not to offer any extension.
