SBHA has a stock of 5,646 properties. All require a 5 year electrical safety inspection along with around 624 communal areas with lighting. All properties must also be LD2 Grade D/F compliant by 29th January 2021. 2,646 currently have or are scheduled in an existing programme of works to be LD2 Grade D/F compliant by 29th January 2021. The purpose of the works included in this contract is to ensure compliance of the remaining properties to LD2 by 29th January 2021 and to complete periodic electrical checks for all properties and communal areas including communal lighting as well as completing the associated electrical works. Scottish Borders Housing Association (SBHA) is seeking to award a contract for LD2 compliant Fire Alarm installations and the delivery of Periodic Electrical Test Inspections and associated works.
