Berkshire West: Smoking Cessation

This procurement is on behalf of three contracting authorities, these being, Reading Borough Council, West Berkshire Council and Wokingham Borough Council.There will be three separate contracts awarded. Berkshire West (Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham Councils) are inviting tenders for their smoking cessation contract to start in October 2021. This contract, which will be for five years with annual break clauses, will be split into three sections, one for each Local Authority, with each authority having their own costings and activity expectations Lot 1: Bracknell Forest Borough Council is administrating this procurement on behalf of three contracting authorities, these being, Reading Borough Council, West Berkshire Council and Wokingham Borough Council.There will be three separate contracts awarded. Berkshire West (Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham Councils) are inviting tender bids for their smoking cessation contract to start in October 2021. This contract, which will be for five years with annual break clauses, (1+1+1+1+1) will be split into three sections, one for each Local Authority, with each authority having their own costings and activity expectations. The maximum annual cost of the contract will be £300,000 (maximum £100,000 per local Authority per calendar year) with an anticipated full contract maximum value of £1,500,000. This procurement process is being completed under the “Light Touch Regime”, governing “Social and Other Specific Services” detailed in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The Councils will evaluate the tenders in stages as detailed in the procurement documents.
