The Authority wishes to appoint suppliers to the Framework for Acquisition of Weed Boats and Amphibious Weed Harvesters. The Environment Agency uses a number of different types of weed cutting boats and harvesters for essential river maintenance. This maintenance includes managing floating weed, submerged plants, obstructions and other debris in our waterways, ditches and channels. The access and environmental issues requires maintenance to be undertaken using boats rather than construction type equipment. Lot 1: The supply of Track and Auger Propelled Amphibian Weed Cutting Boats, and any fittings or accessories will cover the supply of Track and Auger Propelled Amphibian Weed Cutting Boats, and any fittings or accessories Lot 2: the supply of Track and Paddle Propelled Amphibian Weed Cutting Boats, provision of trailers and any fittings or accessories will cover the supply of Track and Paddle Propelled Amphibian Weed Cutting Boats, provision of trailers and any fittings or accessories Lot 3: the supply of Weed Cutting Harvesters and any fittings or accessories. the supply of Weed Cutting Harvesters and any fittings or accessories.
