Tender description

The principal objective of the contract is to appoint a suitably qualified organisation to provide a weed control service consisting of three (3) applications per annum, to control weed growth in streets, along traffic islands, footways/pavements, around roundabouts, including those out with 30 mph signs. In the main, these will include: (a) where a pavement is wider than the conventional measurements, (b) along kerbs and walls, (c) a road made up of paviour sets, (d) tree pits and raised sets in pavements, (e) steps, (f) central reservations, (g) all interlinking lanes (interlinking lanes are the perimeter of each lane). Roundabouts and central reservations and the smaller traffic islands, out with 30 mph signs.
