Tender description
The successful Tenderer shall be required to provide the service delivery to include the following at the very minimum: • Work with minimal supervision by KCC staff at times and may be required to work in conjunction with Silliot Hill site staff depending on the situation. • Provide for an annual servicing of the flare as per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines. • The service delivery shall consist of a minimum of monthly visits to the flare and leachate plants, i.e. 12 per year for the period of the maintenance contract. • A monthly status report (MSR) on the Flare and the Leachate plant shall be issued to the Client’s Representative prior to the end of week 1 of the following month. The MSR shall be in a format as agreed with the Client’s Representative prior to the submittance of the first one. In accordance with the Waste Licence, written records of all calibrations and maintenance works carried out on any plant (including the flare) shall be given to the licensee • Visit the site at frequent intervals in order to balance the gas within the gas field with the landfill gas plant operator, optimise the system operation, carryout investigations and repairs as seen fit by the Employer’s Representative and provide additional training and support to the facility operator as required. • Report for call-outs within 24 hours Monday to Thursday, or by the same time the following Monday if called out on the Friday, or the following Tuesday if a bank-holiday weekend. • Available for emergency callouts/works. In the case of Emergency works, mobilise appropriate plant, materials and labour within 4 hours of notice. • Nominate a project manager and substitute to provide support. The project manager(s) must be contactable outside of normal working hours.
