Tender description

The University of Wales: Trinity Saint David Group (hereafter known as the Group, UWTSD Group or Institution/s) are seeking to appoint a contractor for the provision of a waste management service for all of its campuses/buildings, within the Counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Swansea. The appointment will be made by a process of competitive tender. The intention is to procure a 5-year contract for waste management services with 2 further optional extensions of 1 year each at the sole discretion of the UWTSD Group, and subject to satisfactory annual performance reviews. Given potential future legislative changes, such as landfill bans being discussed for wood, glass, metal, plastic, and food waste; it is important that the UWTSD Group fully understands all of their waste arising and drive forward with their waste segregation activities so that they are well placed to adapt to legislative changes.
