Tender description

The V&A is seeking proposals for the design, content and production and printing of the V&A magazine and the introduction of an online version. The magazine is expected to be published 3 times a year in June, October and February. The average number of magazines printed in 2018-2019 was between 90 000-120 000 copies, although no guarantee of volume is made. We are looking for a publisher who can design, produce all content and deliver the production of the magazine to the best quality, but also coordinate advertising sales and facilitate the printing and delivery of the V&A Magazine to the V&A Membership’s mailing house. This may also include the production and print — or co-ordination of — advertising inserts, leaflets and vouchers. The successful contractor/publisher should drive the following three outcomes: 1) Enticing design, 2) Economic benefits for the V&A through a percentage share of advertising profits, 3) Transparency regarding the cost of design and production of the magazine.
