Tender description
Mount Congreve Gardens Development, Waterford - Appointment of Consultant Hydrologist. Waterford City & County Council are seeking tenders from suitably qualified Hydrologists with with Flood Risk Assessment and Eco-hydrology experience to assist with the progression of the above project. The general scope of works will include: 1. Understanding of the wetlands with respect to the proposed expansion of the visitor centre and car parking. 2. The development of optimum conditions to support ecological habitats (in tandem with an ecologist that will be procured separately). 3. Increasing the size of the existing wetland from 5-6 hectares up to approx 9 hectares. 4. Increasing the size of the existing lake (approx 0.5 hectare). 5. Understanding the functionality and hydraulics of the existing drainage elements (stream, canal, sluice and weir) and recommendations.
