This Market Position Statement is designed to help providers of services and the people who use them understand what the current offer is and also what the services could look like in the future, in this case specifically Short Breaks Services for Children with Disabilities. This document has been developed using the feedback we have from children and young people with disabilities1 and parents/carers2 on the current offer and what they would like to see changed. It also brings together data from a variety of sources, such as the Bury Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) on the needs of the Borough which must be considered when commissioning services.
