Tender description

NHS England — Midlands will be tendering for an integrated healthcare service for HMP Wellingborough in spring/summer of 2020. This is a service for a newly constructed Category C prison with a population of 1 680 men. It is expected to the contract will go live from April 2021, with access to the prison site from September 2021 and the arrival of the first wave of patients (ramp up of 35 per week) from December 2021. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS England — Midlands (referred to as the Commissioners) wishes to inform the market of future procurement opportunities for integrated healthcare service at HMP Wellingborough and will be holding a market engagement event on the 17.3.2020. There will also be an opportunity for organisations for have a 1:1 session with the commissioners on 23.3.2020. Organisations (maximum of 2 people per organisation) wishing to attend the market engagement event and/or the 1:1 sessions should contact Sarah Groves sarah.groves4@nhs.net by Friday 13th March at 4 p.m.
