Tender description

The scope of the service being commissioned will include care and support services, housing related support as well as housing management. The accommodation is a purpose-built building, situated in the London Borough of Wandsworth and provided for adults with a learning disability with a range of needs. The landlord for this scheme is the Council. The provider, therefore, will be required to enter into a housing management agreement with the Council. Care and housing related support services will be delivered in a purpose built building. Stag Road, opening in 2020 and linked to a general needs housing site, will contain 10 units. The service requires 24 hr staffing. The objective is to deliver local personalised services that are enabling and community integrated, including but not exclusively to the following: — the commissioned service will have a number of overarching aims, — these will underpin our ethos of commissioning, — drive our expectations of service delivery, — ensure people retain independence where possible, — delivered with the least intervention whilst ensuring service user safety. The service will evidence value for money by identifying solutions that ensure a good balance of quality and cost to make the best use of resources and achieve positive outcomes for people and their communities.
