Tender description

Royal Borough of Greenwich Council invites providers to tender for the provision of the banking and merchant acquire services. Lot 1: The provision of the banking services for a comprehensive money transmission banking service involving maintenance of numerous bank accounts, faster payments, handling of paper, BACS and CHAPS clearing, cash processing and other activities associated with local authority banking business; and Lot 2: The merchant acquirer services involving the processing of a variety of payment cards which are accepted by the Councils as payment for services and will include for the provision of chip and pin machines if required. Providers may submit a bid for both or either lot.
