Tender description

The provision of visual simulator (VISSIM) access for RAF Odiham to improve controller currency and the ability to provide a safe operating environment at the station. RAF Odiham Air Traffic Control (ATC) does not have access to a visual simulator (VISSIM) and this, with the low traffic levels experienced over the past two years, is contributing to a lack of effective currency and elongated training times resulting in a deficiency of SQEP controllers and skill fade. The purpose of the requirement is for a Service Provider to deliver this visual simulation access in order to improve controller currency and the ability to provide a safe operating environment at the station.
