The provision of a range of food and culinary skills courses aimed at improving the awareness of nutrition and benefits of locally sourced food

Tender description

The provision of a range of bespoke courses aimed at supporting the objectives of the Kilkenny Food Strategy 2020 – 2015 on informing the wider Kilkenny public of the benefits of locally sourced food and how to optimise that benefit to the individual and the overall community. The training courses will have a number of target groups and cohorts: • Local rural communities with specific opportunities or/ and needs in terms of food culture; • Kilkenny-based food and beverage producers, retailers, hospitality providers and food service operators; • Socially isolated groups: older people, youth, marginalised communities in the Kilkenny region; • Policy influencers: e.g. public representatives, managers of bodies with significant food budgets; media; etc. More details of course required under the 'Documents' section: Training Course Programme
